Webers - Repair - Tuning
 

Ive got a set of 40's on my 2.4. Im running 32 Vent and all other parts associated with an E engine.

Im having a bad problem with Stumbling off idle and I can visibly see that one of the Throttle shafts is moving when idleing.. thats how "bad" it is.. Both have slack movement up and down by hand force.

I set the Floats 18mm to the Tab.. now Ive also read that this is not an exact science but that you need to ensure that the Needle is Closing at some point.. I didnt quite understand what I was looking for here. Can anyone explain?

Who is recommended for Throttle shaft Repair and setting the Bowl heights.. Ive heard of Bieker who does a GREAT job but is a bit pricy..

ANYONE ever use AllState Carbs in New York for the Throttle Shaft Repair?
Once the CARBS are in Good working order, How easy are they to set up.. Ive gone through the process bofore but the adjustments dont seem to Make much Difference at ALL> Perhaps because of "Leaking" Carbs ???

With the shaft movement you describe you will drive yourself nuts trying to get the engine to idle/transition/run correctly.

Others will recommend whom to send them to.

But get them repaired...you will just be chasing your tail otherwise IMO.
