Easy Case Material Question

Hi all,
This should be an easy one (I hope):

Pre 1969 what were the 911 engine cases made out of?
1969 the move over to magnesium cases until 1978 right?
Then in 1978 the move to Aluminum cases until 1989 ?
Then after 1989 case material ?

If this post belongs in tech, sorry, I just wanted to get the definitive answer.
Cheers
CRS

More or less. Mag cases in '68. Turbos and C3s got Al cases in '75+, and SCs Al in '78. Pre 68 were sandcast Al cases. Still Al alloy these days.
