Hi Cameron,

That's a nice looking power curve...

What carburetor settings did you end up with (ie venturis, emulsions, mains, idles, airs etc, etc).

What intake/exhaust port sizes are you running?

Cheers,

Hi,

If I may say so, sizes are no reflection of head flow & velocity,........ :) :)

I've seen big ports that didn't move much air and I've seen smaller ones do very well, depending on camshaft profiles.

Certainly JMHO,

What Steve said on the ports :D As I understand its more about shape than size. That said they look freakin' huge and I think were roughly 38mm but they are not round.

Webers I think have 34mm main venturis, 140 main jets, 160 air jets, 60 idles, F3 emulsions, PMO tall manifolds - port matched.

As noted above there has not been enough time to play with the Webers to get a completely satisfactory result - out of interest my mechanic said it ran better with the standard secondary venturis than the talls which runs contrary to conventional wisdom. That may change with a change in emulsion tubes? Jetting is pretty good otherwise.

Cheers

Cam
