Wiring up twin MSD ignition boxes

I am soon to start on the installation of my (Supertec) twin-plug distributor & associated ignition components & have a question relating to the wiring.

I am using 2 MSD 6AL ignition boxes & 2 Blaster 2 coils to provide the spark & my question is:

How do I connect the twin MSD's to the distributor ?

Do I simply 'splice the 2 sets of green & mauve wires from the MSD boxes together & connect these to the (thick) green lead to the distributor ?

Or is there another way ?

Andy -

I have twin MSD's as well although can't answer your question. I'll ask my friend who may be able to help out. Nice set up!

Yessir, thats precisely what you do,...

I use Weatherpak connectors to facilitate this but Deutsch connectors work just as well.

You may have something equivalent in the UK,...

Andyjboy, like Steve says- splice green with green and purple with purple ( I believe that MSD sells this splitter).
If you have any questions let me know.

p.s- does the supertech have the same type of connector as the MSD?

Did you really call the purple wire "mauve"?

sounds like something a BMW guy would say.

... sorry, it's not "mauve"

- or "purple"

- or "periwinkle"

- it's actually "violet" according to MSD's wiring diagram.

lol!! Andy have you posted pics of your 70T/2.8RS twin-plug?

I give my wife and her friends a hard time because they will call a color anything but the basic color and where they get these names I cannot figure out. This just struck me as funny.
