Piston Height Group ???'s

What defines "height group" physically? Is it the distance from the pin centerline to the top of the crown?
TIA

Call me ignant, but I thought only cylinders were rated for height, not pistons?

Thanks ianc:
That's pretty much what I thought regarding cylinders. I had a discussion with someone yesterday and the topic of piston height groups came up. I can't find any references anywhere regarding the pistons, however. Maybe no such animal...

Pistons and cylinders come in tolerance (4) groups for diameter.
Cylinders come in 2 height groups.
There isn't any sort of height group for pistons that I know of.

Thanks Chris:
My original question derives from the mixed set of 10.5:1 Andial pistons for my 2.7. The clyliders are all the same height group, but the pistons have different markings on them. They all seem to measure out the same, however.
