Opening Oil Pump for Cleaning/Chkin
I understand that its good practice to mark the gear location before opening the oilpump to make sure that the same teeth mate up upon reassembly. But when you reassemble would you loctite the nuts that hold the pump together? What are the torque values for these pump nuts? Just wanna make sure my "new/used" parts are as clean as they can be!
Thanks, Nabil p.s. somebody check out my other question titled "Locking washers" in regards to the difference between the oil pump locking tabs and the ones on the intermidiate shaft. Thanks again!

Less brakes, more gas!

I didn't lock tight mine. Just cranked em tight after cleaning.
![]() Keeping the impellers in the same relationship is key. I used a scribe mark. Best regards, Michael
