I just had my 3.0 rebuilt. New everything. SSI's, valves, springs......
My compression and leak down were disastorous and there was oil everywhere. No brainer for a complete overhaul. It cost me near $10,000. That is in Florida dollars!
Included was a re-built fuel head, new MSD system to replace dead factory box and SSI with a Dansk muffler. You may not need these items. These parts are a little over $2,200.00.
$8,000 to $12,000 seems in the ball park.
