fuel injector question

Has anyone cleaned their old fuel inj. with an ultrasonic cleaning machine rather than spend the $360 on new ones? I so did they perform ok when reusing them?
Wondering if I should just spend the money on the parts cleaner that I will be able to use for years rather than on the new injectors.

Thanks

Injector cleaning

I have used this source with great results. They will give you a before and after printed report on the injectors.

I have cleaned several sets of injectors using a $35 sonicator from HarborFreight. If you have clogged injectors it does not work very well since you are not flowing fuel through the piezo valve mechanism. If you only have dirty printle caps this works very well to restore a spray pattern. Easier starts, smoother idle, increased throttle response and better fuel mileage are the result of cleaned injectors.
