Provide HP numbers for a 3.0L biuld

Here are some toys and tricks that I thought would deliver the best HP for a 3.0L rebuild can any give me HP numbers for a build like this:

Mahle Pistons 98mm
PMO 46mm
CAMshaft S
SSI EXHAUST
Quasi diff 43 teeth fine spine
Twin plug distributor

This would cost 18K just for the parts. The Mahle pistons I would have to order from God.

I don't think that an "early S" cam shaft is really going to give you the lift that the engine could use -- especially if it's an early SC with the large ports. I think that you'd do better with GE60's.

I'm guessing about 241 HP at 6300 RPM and 199 lb-ft of torque at 5100 RPM.

HP numbers

I think that engine should do at least 270 hp at the flywheel. That number may be a bit low depending on exhaust and comp. ratio. The SSI and muffler combination could result in less power. We use 1 5/8 Georges headers.

I have dynoed similar engines with stock cams and EFI that do 260-265 with no problem using headers and race muffler.

Oops. I forgot to take into account the 98 mm pistons. My corrected estimate agrees with Rscotty: 270 HP at 6300 and 220 lb-ft at 5100 RPM.
