901 gear box and 2.4 E motor ?

good morning first excuse me for my english : I am french. I am rebuilding an old porsche and fitting a 2.4 E motor in my car, wich is a 2.0 S dating from 1967. so I have a 901 gearbox. I suppose I have to fit a flywheel of 2.0 S on my 2.4 E isn't it ? I also have a question about the electronic : can I use the electronic of the 2.0 S for the 2.4 E ? (talking about ignition box) thank you very much Jeeper

You will indeed need a 901 flywheel if not present on your motor. The CDI (ignition) will for fine on your 2.4.

 2.4E in a 2.0 S

thank you. OK for the flywheel, I am now fitting them togueter, it seems to work. for the ignition I have a 2.0 S dating from 1967, and ignition seems different than for the 2.4 E it would be a good new if it is OK to keep my old ignition system. are you sure ? Jeeper
