RENNEN Imports in Tampa - reputation?

Guys,

I have a friend looking at a 911 cab with a rebuilt 3.0. The owner has supplied the receipts for the engine rebuild done by RENNEN Imports in Tampa, Fl, in March of this year. It looks like it was taken all the way down to the bottom and everything was replaced or machined per a full rebuild. However, I've got the same receipts and I rebuilt mine myself.

Can anyone give me a good or bad opinion of RENNEN just so this guy can feel at ease about the engine being done correctly? He is planning on getting a PPI to have the vitals of the engine checked out, but I thought I would ask here for opinions as well.

Thanks,

Dion

If Don rebuilt the motor it should be good to go. He has 30years with rebuilding porsche engines he left Dave White Racing sometime last year before going to RENNEN. They are good for BMW and doing fab work. Anyway tell your friend get a PPI from Dave White ask ViperBob to have Kenny do the

Dave white racing is now Vortex.

Did Kenny stay with Vortex? Don's solid - although not a big fan of CIS.

Rennen Imports

Dion-

Jeffrey Dugliss built the engine; R Jedinak was the installation technician. Jeffrey was formerly with Dave White in the late 90's and early 00's he built the engines Dave and Rembrandt Charms used to win the Rolex Endurance Series, 12 Hours of Sebring, and 24 Hours of Sebring. Kenny was after Jeffrey and Don now subcontracts with Rennen for transmission work. Jeffrey owns Rennen Imports Inc. and supervises all the work. If you need specs on the engine, warranty information, etc. you can contact him by telephone at 813-876-0606 or by writing Rennen Imports Inc. 1917 W Kennedy Boulevard Tampa, Florida 33606.
