Race 3.8 Eye Candy

I haven't posted in a while.
Toward the end of last season I threw a rod through the case. Ouch!
Here is the new engine ready to go into the cup car.

OMIGOD, that is beautiful. I hate to ask, and I know it's rude of me, but what kind of cubic $$$ were required for an engine like that, and who built it?

Thx,
TT

Very nice! Did you modify the stock shroud, or is it a completely different unit?

It looks like you are running Jenvey TB's am I right, also what kind of injectors do you have going there. Like the idea with the intakes, now all you need is a resonance chamber to fill that void up! I hope your have a stand of sorts under the tail of that transmission, it scares me, I dont trust straps that much.

Hey Guys,
I'll try and answer a couple of questions.
The engine and tranny were only on the cart a couple of hours.
Motec controls the entire system. The car started life as a 91 cup car.
The powder coating is hiding the strap for the fan.
Since I am not running enduros the 32gal tank (with quick fuel) has been taken out and is for sale. A great deal if someone wants it.

Thanks,
Paul
