3.2L Intake Air CFM?

Hi,

I'm going to start a new project for replacing my AirFlowMeter (AFM) in my 3.2L Motronic Carrera with a Hot Wire Air Meter. Just starting to see what hot wire meters are available and I'm leaning toward trying something from the Ford Mustang family.

The question I have is does anyone know what the 3.2L air intake requirements are in CFM? At Idle and max CFM at WOT?

Or I may just use the available calculators that estimate the CFM based on Liter size of the engine. These calculators calculate about 350CFM for a 3.2L

The idea for the conversion is to simply replace the AFM with a Hot wire and a specialized WideBandO2 controller that will convert/map the 0-5volt signal from the Hot Wire meter so that it looks exactly like the AFM 0-5volt signal. I already have the WideBandO2 installed in the car and it has the ability to take a 0-5v input and map it to a 0-5v output. The maps are created/defined in the software via a laptop and then stored into the controller. This will allow you to keep the current chip and allow you to easily switch/swap between the AFM or the Hot Wire.

Thanks.
