Clutch adjustment on 84 911 euro
I have a 1984 911 euro and the clutch pedal doesnt engage until it is almost all the way out. I want it to engage about halfway out. I have read the DIY on the replacement of a clutch cable but it doesnt go into detail about the final adjustment. Do I only tighten the cable at the area where 2 nuts are holding cable in (photo)
place.  I have tightened it almost a quarter of an inch and it seems to make the cable harder to push all the way to the floor but the engagement still feels about the same place. Do I need to adjust the clutch cable arm? photo-  thanks |
