How to resurface plastic MFI inlet stacks ?

Anyone has experience how to best clean-up/resurface the black plastic inlet stacks (inlet tubes) used on 72/73 MFI-cars (US-T, E, S and RS) ? Appreciate your advice.

Believe it or not....
WD40 works great.
On a cloth or scotch brite pad.
Made mine look like brand new, although it does take some time.
