Thank You

I have finished the 3.2 upperend rebuild and the engine is running great. I have not posted many questions because the problems that can up had great answers using the search engine. I ended up spending 5K to up date the engine & accesories. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1216519095.jpg

That looks great. What all did you do to the top end?

Great job, mate!
But why did you stop at the top?
I know that it would cost a few extra bucks, but wouldn't it be nice to not worry about that..? -Just curious...

More Info

Greetings, I replaced the valves, value springs, cam chains, fuel line, oil lines, clutch, starter, alternator, etc.

I didn't touch the lower end because the leak down test was very good. Also with correct warm up care that area of a engine should last 200K.

I just bough a BMW 328I with sports package 1999 for my wife. After Porsche part prices why not.

Time to go AX

Looks very nice. Who did the machine work on the heads for you? And how many miles were on the engine?

To DCinVA,
FleetPride in Norwell MA. 781 982-2700 The head mechanic was recomended by the man that race out of the Porsche dealer just up the street.
