best 8mm timesert length?

I am considering timeserting the 8mm studs for my 74 mag case. (it already has the head timeserts). What length of insert is best for the perimeter studs and for the through stud that clamps the case just below the rear countershaft bearing. Thanks. Paul.

I think mine are around 25mm but only use them at the layshaft, I guess you could use them for the case but you would have to shorten them up. Do all the studs need them?

Opps, just noticed you are using timeserts, I have 8mm casesavers and they only come in one length, can you get timeserts in any length you want?

Craig,
I had planned to timesert the layshaft stud just as a precaution. I have seen this pulled in another case. The perimeter studs, again just a precaution, but less critical as the case wouldn't have to be split to gain access. And yes, time serts come in many different lengths. Paul.
