Quick Qn: SSI's vs. Early heat exhangers

hi all

first up, the search function does not seem to be working.

i had always thought the internal diameters of the SSI headers matched those of the 'early type' 69-73 factory heat exchangers. the only difference being SSI's are made from stainless steel.

can someone confirm that this is correct?

Yessir,....dimensionally, they are almost identical (SSI tubing is a bit more equal length).
