Piston Ring material

What is the best piston ring material and preferred manufacture?

I have done searches on several makes Goetze, JE and Deves but not coming up with much.

Thoughts on Moly vs steel Nitrided rings?

I'm debating which ones to use on my 3.2 if I end up reusing my Pistons and cylinders.

Goetze would of been my first choice prier to doing a few searches here and finding posts on QC issues with Goetze ring gaps that are larger than the used rings they were replacing.
So this has me wondering about them. Has anyone else had any problems with these rings?

Forgot to mention in my post that I might convert to turbo, and if so then what are the preferred rings?

Thanks for your input, Paul
