Advice needed for MFI & S engines + genuine RS ducktail?

I am looking for a correct S motor for my recently acquired 70S, found 2 engines on ebay. Anyone know these sellers or have an opinion?

Second, is it possible (within reasons) to convert eg the 2.4T MFI for a 2.2S engine?

Third, what would identify a genuine RS ducktail, was told my S has one.

Big thanks in advance for any info!

Take photos of the underside of the duck tail. If it has a steel or aluminum frame, it is very likely real. If all glass, not real.

It isn't hard to convert a T to an S motor, but probably easier to just buy one already built.

The seller Fastclassics has a reputation and it's not what I would consider a good one. I've heard some nightmares from people who bought "restored" cars from him. I wouldn't buy anything used or rebuilt from him but I thought I would probably be OK if I only bought a new part from him. Well, I ordered and paid for a new clutch a month ago and still have yet to receive it.

Fastclassics..........(or so he says ) is nothing but dishonest to the bone. The engine he "did" for me was pure crap. He used worn out / mis matched throttle bodies, one from a T and the other from an E. the engine made no oil pressure. I was told that early cars "don't make very good oil pressure". He simply re-installed my old heads that were worn out and had been sitting for years. I paid him for the oil bypass modification and the oil bypass kit. The engine leaked oil so bad, I had to keep newspaper in the flat catch pan, to then change it every couple of days. When I finally gave up on the engine, I pulled it, tore it down and found that Fastclassics left out one of the green oil pump seals, didn't do the oil bypass modification.......and more crap stuff.

When I had my heads rebuilt, the mechanic laughed at the Fastclassic head work ( so-called ).

I wish I had discovered Pelician before falling into the Fastclassic trap.

I've since acquired another used engine and guess what??????this used engine makes very good oil pressure and runs great.

Thanks for info, I found an original 911/02 running engine closer to me. Price was fair so I do have $$$$ over for minor refurbishing should that be neccessary. Fastclassics seem to be nothing but headaches..
