1973 cis tensioner

what is the "special adapter" that wayne talks about in his book for the cam oil line size?

Search here for "oil line restrictor"- when the factory went to a larger oil pump with the 964 they put restrictors in the cam oil lines to limit the flow. Some suggest that this reduces foaming of the oil and increases oil pressure, I happen to like the originals.

thanks john i should have been more discript. i'm talking about the r/s line where it meets up with the case. on 1974 and up there is a oil sender there. there isn't on the 1973.
thanks

On your other post about this issue, the block that is in the"adapter kit" is the same block as the later engines used for the oil sender location. Check the other post for the complete list of parts needed for the right side, on your 73'. Good luck!! Tony.
