Want to run ITBS?

Want to run individual throttle bodies. Is there a way to modify an old mfi set up to do this? Has anyone done this? Where do you put the fuel injectors?

mfi had the injectors in the heads....i couldnt see how you could get injector bosses in the mfi throttles...your best bet is to get a set from twm or such

I am not an expert but I know that Bill Rudner (GTU935) runs them a lot. I also think that in addition to twm there is also Marren fuel injection (they may TWMs as well) that supplies them.

I did see someone making intake spacers that are being machined for either MFI or EFI injectors. You could theoretically use this type of spacer block, fitted with EFI injectors, in conjunction with MFI throttle bodies and stacks, making a modern EFI system with retro-cool. i have just started thinking about doing this. i haven't really researched this enough to understand if it actually makes sense or if it just appeals to me for the pure coolness of it. Modern EFI control with old-time MFI goodness.

Al

Should have done some reasearch before I posted anything. Want to run Itbs. On a three liter cis engine. Have the engine management down. The system I bought uses a 3.2 intake and just need to find a way to run the throttle bodies a cheap way.
