1973 2.4 CIS conversion to EFI possible?

I am exploring the possibility of any and all engine upgrades to my 1973 Targa 2.4 CIS engine, including conversion to EFI. I understand kits are available for 2.7l and later engines, but am having no luck finding 2.4 options on my online search so far.

My engine is currently in pieces already (as well as being thousands of miles away) so any and all options are open to me at this point.

Thank you,
Rocky

The Megasquirt kits you see will do it, just speak with the vendor and ask for smaller injectors, around 18 lb/hr.

Depending on your mechanical abilities and ambition you might get close results and different aesthetics/resaleability from installing Webers or PMOs instead.

I have EFI on one car and Webers on the other. Both are dead-reliable once sorted. Carbs on the older cars retain some of the theme of them and can deliver power, reliability and sounds the EFI cars dont have.

In either case you will need to consider different cams, pistons and exhaust in order to maximize them.

Lots of threads on this around, happy reading.
