Oil Pump ID

Guys

I assume with both the 930 and 996 part numbers this is from a 996 turbo?

Also is there an off the shelf shaft to run this in a 7R case? The plan is to install this in a 2.5 twin plug short stroke engine running to around 7800rpm

Thanks

The C2 and 993 pumps are aluminum bodied and the 930 pumps of the 90s are the same size but are completely steel bodied

I have exactly the same pump from a 996 Turbo, got it cheap of ebay complete with connecting shaft and intermediate gear. I could see if it fits in the 7r case i have.

It does fit, apart from the main bearing web that needs to be cleared.

From PET the part number for the piece connecting the pump to the intermediate shaft is: 93010714303

Remove the antifoam screen and youll have the room you need, it was not used in the 2.7.

The case in the pic is a 3r case btw, but even without the screen, the pump will not clear the no3 mainbearing web.
