What barrels do I have?

I have an '87 3.2L with turbo, flat-top pistons.
1) Are these turbo barrels too?
2) Do I have a 3.3L with these?
3) Are they Alusil or Nikasil?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1232831529.jpg

"I have an '87 3.2L with turbo, flat-top pistons. "

Normally an '87 3.2 would have the DME piston dome not flat top turbo style.

The markings on the cylinder would indicate Mahle Nikasil.

Check to see if the inner bore wall is magnetic. If so they are Nikasil.

Yeah, I see that they're Mahle but are these turbo barrels too?

I have turbo flat-top pistons because it is turbo'd.

Just curious if they are turbo barrels too (if such a thing) and do I have a 3.3L with these pistons?

Those appear to be the standard 95mm 3.2 cylinders. Measure the bores to confirm they have not been bored and replated. The 3.3 turbo cylinders are half finned.

Also look at the piston number beneath the dome.

The 3.3 pistons will read 97P12. The 3.0 turbo piston will read 95P31.

Thanks Tom! I figured they were the standard cylinders, just with turbo pistons.

I remember I couldnt find really any signgnificant numbers under the dome to ask you guys. They have a green color underneath though, not sure what that is.
