Oil leek 1989 c4

Dear All

I found an oil dripping from my car and shop said it comming from where the two haft of the case meet. Any ideas or prices

Get a second opinion from a porsche only shop. Oil leaks typically come form numerous other areas with oil ending up at the bottom center of the case. Especially if it's a lot of oil. If it's a very small amount, and it really is coming from the case joint, it might be sealable by cleaning and sealing from the outside. Not a permanent fix usually, but a small bleed isn't worth 10K to fix.

Oil leaks are a common thing on these cars and will always find their way to the lowest point. Definitely find someone familiar with 911's and have them check it out. I think it would be very unusual for the leak to be at the seam itself.
