911S Magnesium MFI Stacks on a 1972 911?
I'm wondering if anyone knows if using a set of earlier magnesium stacks on a 1972 911 is possible, considering the magnesium stacks don't have cold start fuel squirters near the bottom like the plastic stacks did. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I am pretty sure they won't work because the throttle bodies are different. The factory moved the throttle stops in the 2,4 version.

John,
Explain what you mean. The 69 stacks had different stud spacing at the throttle body but after that the mag stacks would bolt on. The airbox would need to be changed but the throttles and stops should not be affected by using the 70/71 mag stacks.
