You might want to look through the parts catalog

or even call them

What year car?

Couple of ideas. Use pipe cut to length for cylinder hold downs.
Get a yoke for the engine mount.
If car is older than a 82 or so, order the cam sockets (2). One open end for the large nut. The other to handle the cam.
Order 2 z thingies and extensions for setting the cams
Order 2 chain tensioner holders.
Make the chain and rod holders.
U need a big torque wrench to torque the cam nuts.

its a 1980... so im guessing I don't want cam holders that attach to the socket wrench?

The owner of this website and Pelican Parts, Wayne Dempsey, has written a great book called "How to Rebuild your Porsche 911 Engine." In it, he answers all these questions-- like what cam hardware is on what engine and what tools are used, etc. It is the best single volume about Porsche Engines there is-- you can save a lot of time and money by buying a copy directly from Pelican that will then guide your future purchase and engine rebuilding decisions. Good luck!
