Of those shown below which is your favorite valve stem seal?

For both street and race engines?

Do you like to run on all 12 valves or just intakes?

The Votes are in:

Teflon: Walt (Competition Engineering), Henry (Supertec), EBS, Ollie's

Viton: Steve W (Rennsport), Bob? (Anchor Atlantic)

So Teflon defeats Viton 4 to 2! This is from my own research (aka search button)...

IMO, the viton is too good at keeping the oil out, which can result in prematurely worn guides and valve stems, and the resulting seat wear from the valve wobbling around. some folks remove the spring.

I have a full set of Teflons still in bag from pelican I'd like to get rid of; if someone wants them I can drop them in the mail for $15 or $20 or something.
