Anyone know if the repair manuals for any and or all 911 models are avaialble on CD rom or in downloadable form? I am trying to set up a "digital" shop.

From your tag, you may not care. But Porsche aggresively pursues anyone trying to use their manuals in any form other than how they supply them. Just take a look at Pelicans own Parts Diagram utility which Wayne had to dumb down to links to PDF documents to meet their requirements.

I suggest you buy the PET on CD-ROM and store the files on your central server. The PET has all the Porsche vintages and models in Adobe PDF file format. Just link each vintage/model to that particular pdf file from each workstation and you're set to go. Each workstation should have Adobe Reader (Acrobat) on it....it's free if you don't already know.....
The PET uses Windows ActiveX to run the main shell off the CD-ROM which, IMHO, is a PIA to run effectively and safely on a workstation. You don't need it.
