CIS versus MFI/Carb pistons

Are the pistons/cylinders any different for a CIS car (2.4L) than any other?
I believe that Heads are different, correct?

All CIS Pistons have a unique dome shape to promote swirl of the fuel/air mix.

The heads vary by port size. T & E heads are basically the same with S heads having larger ports.

The CIS 2.4 T heads also have the injector port machined into the intake manifold boss. This is a one year one model application.
