correct flywheel

i have a 69 2.0 with a 215mm flywheel but i also a 72,73 2.4l with a 215mm flywheel which one would be correct and are they interchangable using the proper clutch. i think the 2.4 has a 215mm with a stage 1 kennedy clutch in it but was in when i purchased. is there a reason for doing this?

The 2.4 had a 225mm clutch and is also a pull-type clutch system. The 64 to 69 "901 transmission" had a 215mm clutch and a push-type clutch system. That was changed in late 69 to a pull-type with the mag. case 911 transmission. So it would be very difficult to use the later clutch system in your 901 transmission.
