cosmetic refurb 3.2 EFI system
Hi again
Currently working on cosmetically refurbishing the EFI, throttle bodies, intake manifolds etc etc. Is there any documentation available that will help with reassembly? Also, what is the recommended treatment for the intake manifolds? Cheers Roland |
Roland,
Are you doing a intake from a 3.2? I have many pictures of the intake to show how it should go back together. I had the injectors cleaned and also smoothed out the intake runners. There is a company that can force abrasive media through the inside to help even the flow between runners. What I did when I rebuilt the engine. Hi Michael
That looks great.... What product did you use on the manifolds? |
Roland,
I used the super high gloss clear powder coat from Columbiacoatings.com. I ground the casting marks off and bead blasted it. This clear is really tough. I wish I had used this on some of the other parts I powder coated. |
Have you all looked at Caswellplating.com? I used Caswell's powercoating and plating systems to get my level of detail.

Hi Roland,
Can I see a picture from the rear, I want to confirm where to properly connect those vacuum lines. Thanks, Alex |
