When did piston squirters start?
 
Anyone know when Porsche started using these?

Would a 1969 911E engine have had them from the factory?

Piston squirters were one of the few things Porsche changed for the 1971 model year. They can easily be added to older engines like yours without too much trouble, from what I understand.
