piston sizing Question
 
i just bought some used p+cs on the outside of the cylinder there is a marking 95 zn1 ++w11
and the inside of the piston is marked 98 p11
the cylinder measures 94.95 across,roughly
These where sold to me as Max moritz 98s...but i am just unsure why they are called 98s when the measurement across the cylinder is 95ish
probably a newby Q ....
and a second question will a fairly small dimple in the center of the piston cause any structual issues,( i can't get the camera to take a good close up)

They are stock size cylinders. Did you measure the pistons. You'll have a hard time fitting 98mm pistons in 95mm cylinders. Someone could have bored the cylinders out, but not if they measure 95mm. The Max moritz pistons are 98mm and have a sloping flat face with valve pockets. The stock CIS pistons have a curved dome on them.

98P11's are the 3.2 Max Moritz short stroke pistons.

yup, that is what they look like, i will measure the cylinders more closely tomorrow
