What makes the CR difference between Euro and US 3.2?

What makes the difference in compression ratios between Euro and US 3.2? Piston, head, or cylinder base gasket? They are 10.3 vs 9.5. Thanks!

The difference is in the pistons.

The domes are slightly higher in the Euro version.

Tom, thanks! You are professional.

Also, I presume the CR has increased substantially with those thick carbon deposits on the piston doms.:) Possibly higher than the Euro 10.3:1?:D
