head rebuild ? re sodium ex valve
sent my heads out for a rebuild, all my valves are toast!
is it worth the extra $ for sodium exhaust valves? engine is a stock 72 E with no plans for racing did a search seems pretty evenly split. anyone here have an opinion?

I used stainless steel because NOS were prohibitively expensive. The sodium ones are better, however I found that I could buy a lot of gasket kits for subsequent teardowns for the delta in price.
That said, the later valves are a LOT cheaper than 35mm nailheads.
