Anyone ever use Motor Meister for a rebuild??

Was doing some research on engine rebuilding and found this shop that claims they can have the engine shipped and they can take care of the rest...Prices seem pretty reasonable too..was wondering if anyone used their services.

Danger... Before you consider using them please do a quick search for Motor Meister or MM on this board or others. It's not an exaggeration to say they are notorious in the community- perhaps the worst reputation of any Porsche vendor still in existence. They do talk a good game and advertise great prices, which seems why they can continue to exist with only a very small percentage of satisfied customers.

BTW, I did a quick search for some threads for you to read, but the list was fairly overwhelming.

If you like to read horror stories, sit in a good chair, make some popcorn, and plan on reading for a few hours. I did the search for you:

RUN.AWAY.

I had an engine come into our shop that MM just rebuilt because it wasn't running well. They installed two completely different cams in the engine. Another customer brought me his engine after he paid for TWO rebuilds from MM that blew in the first few hours of running.

Do the search suggested, read it, read it again, then find a quality rebuilder.
