Piston Circlip Size
 
I just noticed the new 22 mm piston circlips from Porsche I got are longer than the ones I removed. They are the correct diameter but have a much smaller space between the clip opening. Do I need to cut them?

Started cutting them, even if you could get them in they would overlap or not hold the pin.
