Rings, brand

Looking for some input on piston rings for a 2.7 CIS. I just bought a set of goetze rings and the end gap is to big compared to the new spec, measuring comp 1, 0.016", comp 2, 0.025" & oil, 0.017". I understand there has been some problems with the goetze rings. How good is the quality of deves rings? Thinking of going with something different than the OEM goetze. Any suggestions?

This is in new cylinders? If not are you sure the cylinders are in spec?

Good, no on deves.

There are used, with my measurements, the worst clearance between cylinder and piston is .004", granted I don't have the best measuring tools.
