porsche 911 78sc head studs
Hi All,
I am new to the forum and have a question about the head studs. So the engine is (1978 911sc) apart and I took all of the dilavars out including a broken one. I measured the dilavar diameter at the threaded area and was 9.93mm, but the steels are only 9.88 ( I had an old one from ny 73 911 sitting around). I put the steel stud in the hole and it is a little looser that the dilavar stud. Is that OK and will it make any difference. Thanks, Farman |

By the time you run it in all 25mm there wont be any play but to make sure I would put some blue locktite to keep it there.
