Synchronizing mfi throttle bodies when off engine?

Hi all, I'm in the middle of rebuilding my mfi engine. I've 'rebuild' the throttle bodies (new bushings), cleaned inside and out etc. Now, I'm about to attach them back onto the engine but somehow I do recall having seen a post somewhere about flow testing the throttle bodies using a vacuum cleaner and airflow meter or did I dream this? Can't seem to find the post anywhere.

Am I talking rubbish? Just want to make sure if there's any adjustment I can already perform while the stuff is still on my workbench.

Thanks in advance

Dennis

Well, the only thing I can think of myself is testing for air leakage past the throttle shafts
