Valve seat pressure for 8k rpm motor with 993 RSR cams?
What should the valve seat pressure be for a motor with 8k rpm redline running 993 rsr cams or similar ~0.5" lift cam?

Hey there Joe!
Have you opened a dialog with the spring manufacturer? They may have some different installed height recommendations based on your valves and cams.

Here are the specs from Johns site: Dougherty Racing Cams
Racing valve spring specs to 8000 rpm Installed height 110 lbs 39.5 mm Spring Rate 380 lbs Per inch Open pressure 288 lbs .470" Valve lift. Open pressure 300 lbs .500" Valve lift.
