best value for timing 964 cams on an SC

1.26mm seems to be the preferred value for 964 cams, however I can be above or below that number. One dowel hole gives me 1.16mm and the next one over is around 1.33.

Which will give me better vacuum at idle? I'm thinking 1.16 is the better option for me but would like to hear others input

Thanks
Vinny

.23mm is close to 1 degree on the 964 cam. Set them at 1.33mm (advanced from 1.26mm). I have had customers install them at 1.8 - 2.0mm for more low end power. This would be advanced over the factory setting.
