Another Rod bolt question
Hi I'm just double checking and I can't find specific info.
I'm building a 930 3.3 with the 964-103-176-00 rod bolts, did the torque procedure change with the update from the older 930 type bolts?? thanks Harold |
I would have to go into the manuals for the 930 for specifics but the torque for the 3.2/3.3 crank has been 15# and then 90 degrees in 2 steps.
The 964 part number is just the latest the bolt was used. If you look at the nut is it 993.103.174.02. Torque to your spec book. Bruce |
Thanks, yes the bolt and the nut were updated in PET, but i can't find any update on torque settings, so I just want to make sure that this didn't change.
so I go with the specified torque. |
