Nope, megaphones are shaped, the taper and length and whether or not there is a reverse cone and the geometry of the cone end are all critical factors. Same thing w/ the merge collectors where the angle and length of the merges can make a big difference.

How about taking weight off the crankshaft somewhere?
The comment above that the Carrera 3.0 w/ the 6 bolt crank had more HP because it had a lighter crank Than the 9 bolt SC, made a lot of sense.
Could an SC have some pork in the crank? And where to remove it?

A lighter crank doesn't make hp which is measured at a constant rpm. It does allow freer reving. The difference in hp between the C3 and early SC was all freer flow exhaust, ignition and fuel maps

This wouldn't be allowed in a PCA stock class race car anyway.
