2.2 liter Piston I.D.

I am trying to figure out what kind of pistons i have here. If anybody has seen or heard of these things any help would be greatly appreciated. They were installed on 2.2 LITER
with 66 crank and 2.0 liter rods.

What does it say on the inside of the piston? Those look like a 3rd party 84mm piston in a 84mm Mahle Biral cylinder. It looks like a pretty high compression piston.

The inside of the piston says HEPOLITE DTD/31 AE 16680 The word HEPOLITE has been ground off of most of the pistons.

Hepolite made pistons back in the 80s but I never new they made any 911 pistons. They merged with someone in the late 80s and I have no idea what happened to them after that. You would need to CC the pistons yourself to figure out the compression and find some rings that would work if you are going to use them.
