Lightbulb 2.7 missing

Hey Guys:
I am experiencing a miss during hard acceleration between 3 and 4,ooo rpms.
It does this warm, or cold.
The motor had a full tune up approx 10K ago. (1 year) with all
the basics covered.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Kenny

its always a good idea to state the year and as much info that will help. i will assume a 77 since the 7 in your name.

lots of things it could be.

basics, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter. look at the plug wires in the dark and look for arcing. MCA put on a new set of wires and his car ran worse. he can tell you more about his deal
you will have to be the judge if you want to replace this stuff or not. check the points gap. it is not critical, but make sure it is at least close. i always eyball mine. i just put another set of plugs in even though i thought mine should still be good. got rid of a low rpm buck and starts faster now.

could be timing. is the advance working. what about the vacuum enrichment to the WUR, if you have a 76-79. earlier and later cars did not have it. it should have vacuum to the wWUR until you go WOT. mine actually starts to go rich around 4k.

air leaks. are always an issue.

mixture

control pressures

injector spray patterns and fuel quantity out of each injector. i had one that was putting out half of what the others were.

some of these things are easier to do and perhaps less likely, but just some ideas to get you thinking.

personally i would look into the timing and the vacuum to the WUR first along with ignition parts.
