What are these P/C
Found these in a barn with a lot of other stuff. Any ideas on what they are? What's the best way to clean them up? My diesel-purple parts cleaner is great for steel and Al, but Mg not so much.

Look inside the dome for the Mahle P/N I'll bet 67-68S with Aaron (80P5E) I use soda blasting for pistons and outside of the cylinders. I use scotchbrite hone as the first step in cleaning the inside bores of the cylinders. Use this reference as a guide http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1263158787.jpg |
Here's the 67-68S 2.0S piston

thanks guys, a few pics. they all have the E (maybe a Mahle logo?) on the inside and -1 on the crown. Haven't gone through them thoroughly, one face is badly pitted and here's a broken skirt, but they might be usable to someone when what they are is nailed down. they are 80mm.
