Inline Fuel Filter Options

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 77 930 3 liter turbo that has been standing for a few years-
When it came to fire up, a fuel starvation problem was picked up and traced to the inside of the fuel tank having rusted, depositing scale and rust into the remaining fuel hat destroyed the front fuel pump.

I had the tank cleaned, and then coated with product used in aircraft tanks.

In order to avoid any small pieces of scale doing a similar type of damage in the future, I would like to fit an in-line filter from the exit of the tank before it goes into the front fuel pump.

I understand that a 12 mm bore is required, does any one have a solution they can recommend in terms of a filter make and model number, or any comments about the plan to fit the in-line filter ahead of the front fuel pump

I have changed from K Jetronic to a Mo-Tech type electronic system- we have put in new hard lines to the rear pump as we do not trust the internal surface of exisiting feed and return pipes
